Hotel is perched atop hill just outside of town. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby and the town is a nice 20 stroll down the hill. Staff hooked us up with a great driver for day trip to Sigiriya. "The stay was good. It is fairly basic but the host was friendly. We had takeaway and ate it at the dining table as there wasn't really facilities to cook. It's about a 20 minute walk into Kandy, which is uphill on the way home. Also very dark at night to be walking on fairly winding roads."
