The one large room is now a dorm-style room mainly for kids and has five new twin beds set up in one with drapes separating each and new bedding. The other two upstairs bedrooms now have king-size beds instead of queens.

This house is perfect for a large family or group of friends looking to have easy access to all things in Coeur d'Alene. This rental has a real home-away-from-home atmosphere with its rustic charm, spacious kitchen, and furnished deck and front patio complete with a porch swing. The wood stove keeps the home warm on chilly nights, while the gas grill allows you to whip up delicious barbecue meals in warm weather. When nights come to a close, the brand new Roku TV will provide ample entertainment in the living area.

Nature lovers will appreciate the hiking trails at Tubbs Hill, just a half-mile away while the city park & beach are just a mile west. Visiting golfers looking for a challenge can make the short two-mile drive to Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course. And for those willing to travel a little further, the Silverwood Theme Park is only 22 miles north while the Silver Mountain Ski Resort is 36 miles east.

Good location, loud neighborhood
Really short walk to downtown, but that came with noise. Kids and teenagers playing at the park, skating around the parking lot right next to the house, and what seemed like teenagers driving around playing loud music with very loud engines. However, it was perfect for a quick weekend trip and hanging out all together at the house.

Perfect location for the Ironman event. The home is old and had a couple of issues (upstairs shower did not drain adequately which was the largest issue) but it did not create any major problems. We enjoyed our trip and the use of the home.

Great location
House is a bit dated and creaky. Doesn’t heat very evenly. Not much for kitchen supplies. However the location is awesome and the house was clean and comfortable. Kids loved the bunk room. Would stay again.

Incredible location!
This space worked perfect for a group of girlfriends trip to CDA for the weekend. The house is HUGE, tons of space, 3 full bathrooms. It is old and dated but that didn’t bother any of us, as we spent most of our time out & about. Definitely reccomend this spot for a large group.

Awesome location and deck, rest was suspected
The house is located next to the park and Tubbs hill. Incredible spot! The deck out back is new and beautiful with a bbq and a firepit. That was the highlight of the stay for us. Goes downhill once you go inside. Kitchen is old and tired. There is one bed downstairs. it isnt' very private off the kitchen. Upstairs is old. There is nothing in the house that doesn't make some kind of noise. Set my mind at ease that a burglar would have an impossible time sneaking around in the house. Lofted bedrooms upstairs are Ok. The room with the king i couldn't stand upright in. Had to hunch the whole time i was in the room. Walking, changing, etc. Bonked my head a couple times. Tub upstairs backed-up. Emailed and Vacasa had they someone there later that afternoon. Worked fine after that. Same bathroom wasn't super clean when we got there and we found an empty pop can behind the king bed. Can't say what the heat or a/c would be like as we had no need of it as the outside temp was just right. Based on the age and windows bet it would get hot in the attic. Internet was spotty and slow. Had to reset the modem every morning after getting instruction from the owner by email. Ran a speed test. It is 5mb dsl so that is pretty much one device. Teenagers were squawking about the poor service. Had a personal issue come up and asked for a late check out. The place wasnt' rented the night we were leaving, however the owner declined. We understand as it is part of the policy and we left without incident. But thought it would have been a nice gesture after the tub and internet issue. So for the price and location with 6 of us, i might stay here again if it was the right season (summer/fall). Otherwise would be hard pressed to come back.

Great location. Quiet area.
Although an older house, it is very clean and comfortable and well kept. It had everything we needed and more for our weekend stay. It is within walking distance of many shops. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs. I wish I had know this as we had my 91 year old father with us and I was a bit worried about him on the stairs, but wanted him to have privacy. (The stairway splits into 2 ways at a small landing. )

Spacious and convenient location
Our group of four women rented this home while in town for our class reunion. We appreciated the spaciousness of the home and especially, its convenient location, which is within walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. Great weekend!
This house was perfect for a large group. We had 7 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space for cooking and hanging out on a rainy day, and walking distance from just about everything. Patty was wonderful! Kind, helpful, and very accommodating, and the house was fully stocked with all essentials. I highly recommend this rental for any time of the year.

Fantastic location and a wonderful house
Nice home with very sweet owner. Comfortable beds for everyone. We were visiting over thanksgiving with my family of four, grandma and a young exchange student. Our Idaho family also joined us for thanksgiving dinner. Kitchen was well stocked and workable. House was comfortable and nice. My wife would have liked it to be warmer, but she says that at home too. Kids (2 of mine and two from CDA) all loved the place and running over to the fantastic park next door. Thanks to Patricia for the delicious pie and the wine for my wife!

Great comfort and location
Two families stayed here for Ironman week. It was the ideal location--walking distance to finish line and supporters can cheer on runners 6 times without leaving the front porch. Clean, comfortable, well stocked with plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms. Might be challenging if anyone has mobility issues. Patty met us and gave good advice and was available if we needed her. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Great house, great location.
Stayed here for three nights over Thanksgiving and it was perfect for our group of 12. Plenty of room, well stocked bathrooms, wonderful location and the owners were very nice and responsive. Upper floor has no heat but the wood stove downstairs warmed the house and we prefer sleeping in a cooler room. Wild turkeys roam the neighborhood which abuts a great hiking park.
