The vaporetto stop and the shopping and dining possibilities of Campo San Giacomo are very close, so it is easy to get to the usual sights but also to enjoy the relative calm of a neighborhood. It is lovely to eat while looking out at the garden (too chilly during our stay to eat outside.」

It was a little ways from the main “hustle & bustle” areas of Venice, so it would be considered a more quiet area of the city, but then you had to do a little more walking to get to where you wanted to go (which wasn’t so bad, because we got to see more!). 「The apartment was huge. Lots of space for 5 people. The rooms are a little dark, but the outdoor balcony cannot be beat. Unfortunately we only were there two nights, would have loved to enjoy the space longer. The check in process was so easy and Mario gave us many great recommendations for our short time in Venice. I hardly ever write reviews. But this was a really good experience overall. 」
