"The outside of the property is a bit deceiving, it looks a little plain, but the inside is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location for anyone travelling in the area."

"Perla Blu is an amazing property with breathtaking views of the ocean. The building is brand new and has all the amenities you need. They also offer an incredible breakfast. Domenico, Francesca and their entire family were unbelievable hosts and incredibly warm, helpful and accommodating. If you’re visiting the Tropea area this is hands down the best palace you can stay. "

"I have stayed in many bed and breakfast hotels across Europe and Italy. This is by far the best I have ever stayed. The location is not super fantastic. It’s next to a main road but we can’t hear anything in the room. The room is simple but super super clean and well maintained. Comes with very clean toilet and shower. Mini fridge. Our window looks out to groves of olive tree. Highly recommended!"

"This is a B&B in an apartment building, not an actual hotel, so that was a surprise. It's also several blocks walk away from the centro storico of Tropea, so the surrounding area is full of busy apartments and streets that are distinctly uncharming. However, the facility was SO NICE and the air-conditioning was amazing, and the service was very personal and caring. I was happy to be treated so kindly. "Georgia was awesome as well as the ladies at the coffee/bar/ restaurant ! Perfect location with steep steps to the rocky beach. If you prefer sandy beach you need to walk towards the city center which is about 15 minutes away. We didn’t mind walking as we love the exercise and helps to walk off the drinks / food ! Lots of restaurants in the area in town. "

"The absolute best view from any hotel in Tropea. Our stay was absolute perfection. From the view, service, hospitality, delicious drinks and bites - we can’t recommend staying here more. "We ended our Europe trip with a week at Hotel Borgo di Santa Barbara and it was the perfect choice. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, a great place to unwind. You can relax by the pool or head to Tropea beach, which is just a short drive away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a variety of options, many of them homemade. The family who owns and runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and their hospitality really stands out. Everything was also very clean and well taken care of. We had such a wonderful stay and would love to return someday."
