"I stayed at the hotel for one night with my 12 year old son on his first hiking trip. We requested a nice room with a good view and we were allocated a fantastic room (probably an upgrade) right at the front of the hotel with absolutely breath taking views of the hills and mountains beyond. Not all rooms have such views so don't expect this from reading this review in every room. The room came with a separate sitting room which was also a lovely touch. "The hotel was ideally placed for our long weekend break in north Wales. The hotel staff were outstanding throughout and made my wife and I very welcome. The evening meals were a particular highlight. One glitch for the breakfasts, both coffee machines broke down. Staff reacted well with filter coffee made available quite quickly. Our room was superb, impeccably clean, spacious and with excellent views. We saved the spa for next time and will be back!"
