「The door to the backyard was not functioning. That is a bungalow (separated room from the main building) which has no gas heater, kitchen facilities, no fly screen or security door. As it’s not under the main roof, it’s very inconvenient when it’s raining. One of the bedrooms has two bathrooms and toilet. Another bedroom has no toilet or bathroom attach to it. It’s an old building with a very nice view of Lake Wendouree. Located in one of the upmarket suburbs of Ballarat. It is good for...

「The host was welcoming from the first communication, the home was clean, spacious and very well provisioned. The kitchen was great and we were able to have our children join us for dinner with plenty of room at the dining table and toys for our grandson. Extremely comfortable beds and super quiet. Will definitely stay again.」

The compost toilet was not too bad, and didn’t smell. What could have been better: some things were not replenished prior to our stay such as dishwashing liquid and matches to build a fire, so our plans for s’mores was a bust. We didn’t bother asking the...

「The size of the family room, with 7 of us it was perfect」
