A mountain home with comfy touches at every turn - what could be better? Families and groups will love relaxing at this secluded home that's still close to town. Enjoy lounging on the furnished screened-in porch, or grill with a view! The full kitchen features the full-size appliances and kitchen tools you need to cook up delicious meals together. The loft features two desk workspaces perfect for completing remote work or schooling, in addition to a friendly bedroom space perfect for slumber party fans. Board games are provided for guest fun, and the central air conditioning will ensure that summer guests stay comfortable. When it's time to settle in, just pull the room-darkening shades closed for a peaceful night's rest.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We could not have been any more pleased with our stay! The location is great if you want to have a cabin feel, but not be miles and miles away from stores, restaurants and more. The pictures are an accurate representation of the home, but it exceeded our expectations in person. Extremely clean, well maintained and comfortable couches and beds to say the least! We will be back!

The colorful surroundings. I do suggest that u should upgrade to a Kuerik coffee maker. Also in living room, as you enter, the high window to the right of fireplace had rain coming in slowing dripping down wall. Other than that it was a lovely space.

No To Do list while on vacation

The house was exactly as pictured.It was super clean and they even had back ups for somethings in case you left something behind.The host was very available, I sent several questions and all were answered prior to arrival. The best part.. it was a real vacation to me because there was no to do list for checking in or leaving the property.

Fun times in Clayton!

Our family enjoys hiking to waterfalls and those around Clayton did not disappoint. Our accommodations were perfect for our family. We did have two small problems. The right front burner on the stove top does not work and apparently the exterminator had been by recently without the cleaning service noticing several dead bugs that our little ones found.

Clayton Haven Really liked the location close to downtown Clayton. Cabin was clean except for a few specific things. For the first 24 hours we had the same no internet/no TV issue a few others reported (shout out to Mike for his diligence fixing it). We couldn’t use the gas stove in front of fireplace as instructions were nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, due to some of the frustration we experienced with local Vacasa, we probably would not stay here again.

Highly recommend

The cabin was amazing. Space was roomy for the 5 of us and the location was perfect. We were walking distance from the small downtown area with tons of shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend if you are looking for a getaway with friends or couples. We absolutely loved it. The cabin was clean and had a gorgeous screened in front porch.

Beautiful property and amenities. Everything was as promised and well cared for. The property is very close to downtown, but felt like you were away in a secluded mountain retreat.

Birthday weekend

Enjoyed this property. It’s right off of downtown so everything is very close. Wouldn’t walk it because there are no sidewalks and the streets are narrow but saw folks doing it. Loved the front porch, was perfect for enjoying the nice fall weather. The bedrooms and bathrooms where both nice and spacious. The kitchen appeared to have enough stuff if you wanted to cook, we didn’t. The house does not have cable/satellite and you can only use streaming services on the TV via a ROKU. So if you are wanting to catch a sports event (college football) be prepared to watch in town or via a streaming option as we did. Plenty of seating for all to sit around and watch the game. My only negative about the house is the driveway. We have a large truck and the driveway is narrow. To get in and out of the truck often times I was walking in the ivy. My sister was able to pull her car into the spot beside the house but parents were not able to easily pull their suburban into the driveway. Overall a great place and would certainly rent it again.

Awesome place!

We loved our weekend stay at Clayton Haven! We loved how it is convenient to downtown Clayton yet tucked away in the woods and quiet! Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and a small but well stocked kitchen. The screened in front porch was awesome for enjoying the outside and the peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Exceptionally clean and very cute

We loved the location and the cozy cabin. This place was cleaner than the board of health. We had games, plenty of cookware, blankets and more. The cabin is cozy and nicely decorated with great beds and beddings. We will rent again!
