「Bed advertised as queen but is definitely a full by measurement, pillows were flat, and bedroom curtains blocked no light. This is the prime example of why people stay in their property before renting it out to others. The Wi-Fi also did not work for it entire stay. The property manager replied on day 1 that they were working on it, but we never heard anything further and it never worked. If these points get resolved, I would recommend this property. 「Pros: Check in & check out was easy. The apartment is right on a bus route to the National Mall/Smithsonian Museums, a 15 minute walk to the metro, 10 minute walk to a supermarket, and it's practically nextdoor to a restaurant. The location felt safe. The price was good. The kitchen came equipped with essentials. The on-site laundry wasn't overpriced (pro tip: bring quarters for laundry, it's coin-op.) The host provided linens, towels, and toiletries (and the towels were super soft & fluffy!)...

「Furnishings (couch) was old and uncomfortable. Neighbors were noisy late into evening. No drinking glasses in cupboard or ice tray in the freezer.A small dresser in the closet would be a nice addition.」

「The interior of the home was beautiful with the exception of minor repairs overlooked by the homeowner. The exterior of the house initially was terrible, with the grass uncut and shutters leaning on the exterior front entrance of the home. The homeowner stopped by the next day to address concerns and did have the grass cut and the overflowing trash can taken away from previous renters. Hopefully the homeowner will pay more attention to his beautiful home and property in the future.」
