「The owners were an absolute delight. A well kept inn with something new to see at every turn. We would definitely return with family to use the boats. It was truly a wonderful experience.」

「The staff were incredible, so friendly and welcoming. Each night they served wine, cheese and crackers. The overall atmosphere and hospitality was amazing. We hated to leave.」

「We were welcomed by John when we checked in. It was our 25th anniversary and in our room was the sweetest card and balloons to honor the occasion. So extremely thoughtful! The room was adorable and very comfortable. It had been outfitted with all the amenities you can think of…pastries and snacks, board games, toiletries, and a full kitchen. The only thing I regret is not staying longer in this charming B and B! We will absolutely be back when we visit Woodstock!」

「Food at the eatery was top notch, made from scratch, so delicious. The breakfast, part of the stay, was also homemade and quite excellent. Loved our stay here. Hostess, Vickie, was delightful.」

「This was an adorable little inn in a very cute little town. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, the room was well stocked, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Unfortunately, almost everything in the adorable town of Chester seems to be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, so if you come mid-week I recommend picking up sandwiches or something in a neighboring town and enjoying the cute outdoor space (picnic tables) around the inn.」
