「We enjoyed how quiet the property and surrounding area was. Went for a nice long walk and took in the Bay. The Annex has everything you need, besides a tv, but the view from the windows makes up for that. Tea on the back patio in the evening helped us relax after a day of travel. The following morning we had a lovely breakfast in the main house with lively conversation with the owners. They helped us plan our next day of travel. 」

「There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. 「Very enjoyable once we were able to get access to the property. We were told to contact Karen but no phone number left asking local neighbours did they now any phone numbers and one neighbour new the cleaner and she gave us the code to access the property. For the 4 days we were there nobody contacted us or check if we were even there So check in procedure very poor when you’ve been travelling 13hours」

「The property provided us with everything we needed. While there may have been small things that would have improved our stay further we were perfectly comfortable and the location was wonderful, whatever the weather. It was also well situated to explore every corner of Co Mayo, everything being within an hour or so drive 」

「The cottage was perfect for our first visit to Connemara. The accommodation was spacious, well presented and with everything that we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. Debbie the owner lives adjacent to the cottage which made communication very easy and very help and assistance was to hand. This is a most attractive part of the Wild Atlantic coastline and well worth a visit. We will be back.」

「Wir genossen den Aufenthalt in einem charmanten Haus mit großem, gepflegten und das Haus perfekt einschließenden Garten. Ein wohltuender Gegensatz zu vielen in der Gegend stehenden Häusern, die zwar neuer waren, jedoch in kahler Umgebung wenig einladend wirkten. Die Lage war perfekt für Ausflüge zu Fuß und mit dem Wagen.」

「Traveled w/a group who have all recently retired. The cottage and surroundings were beautiful and tranquil. Everything was up to date and the decor was perfect. We were comfortable whether we were sitting on the patio or gathering inside, Aine was very helpful and informative. A short drive into Westport, which is a fun town. 「The property was a bit tricky to find, as there’s no name or signpost—just number 5. Luckily, we arrived while the host was tidying up after the previous guests, which helped us locate it. The place itself was lovely, though it’s showing a bit of wear here and there. We’ve shared some suggestions with the host and trust they’ll be taken on board. That said, the location is fantastic, and we were blessed with beautiful weather—perfect for relaxing in the garden and exploring the surrounding area....

「The photos do not do the cottage and surroundings justice as whilst they are spectacular the “real” thing is breathtaking. Everything you need is there. State of the art appliances, lots of cutlery and cookware and more than enough hot water. The log fire 🔥 is hypnotic and adds an extra ambience. The house was immaculately clean and so easy to find and checkin was very easy. We will definitely be back ❤️🇮🇪❤️」
