"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful...

"Check in was easy, arrived and the staff were very friendly and engaging, got shown the room which was beautifully presented. Had dinner, the food was delicious, service was excellent , we had a few drinks and went to bed, had a fabulous nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Had breakfast (which was included) and I couldn’t fault it at all, all in all, had a wonderful stay and would very highly recommend."

"Absolutely loved this little place. Carla is an amazing host she welcomed us and showed us to the room. Very convenient location in the Woodbridge train station. And no the trains are very spread out and it’s about a 15 second vibration and there’s no trains after 11 so it’s very quiet till about 7 am. Breakfast is a full English or vegetarian and a few other choices. Very nice made for you and they save you a table every morning. I like it’s 9:00 not 7am like big hotels. Spotless room nice...

"This was a beautiful dated building, not your conventional place to stay but i would most definitely return, service was amazong, so friendly and efficient, this was for my wedding, one night before and night of, the jacuzzi bath was fantastic and both my son and my wife loved it, good for us bigger lads who cants normally enjoy a bath, very low ceilings but there are warnings in all the night places, would highly recommend if you want a peaceful retreat, the breakfast was amazing and good...

"No heating and cheap duvet = freezing cold unable to sleep. No bedside table or bedside light. No seating or "work/eating desk". Small sink in bathroom too small to fill kettle, no plug in sink. Only one light switch in the room (by the entry door). Good mood lighting but got the impression that hourly rates might be available! Didn't stay for breakfast ..... "

"When we got to the site we spent some time trying to find our caravan as the roads were not signposted clearly enough. When we eventually opened our caravan door we were amazed how spacious the lounge was. Everything was clean and tidy with all you could possibly want (other than an ice cube tray!) July weather could have been better but that lies in the hands of the gods unfortunately!"
