"Chateau Frontenac is a venerable and iconic lodge that isn’t resting on its laurels. Despite being 150 years old, the service and staff and accommodations are still at the top of their game. My only complaint, and it’s a thin one, is that I understood there was a spa with a dry sauna and a wet sauna. Only the men’s locker room has both. The women’s just has a wet sauna but it was broken. Boo hiss. For a world class hotel, arguably one of the best in North America, this is unacceptable. We went to Strøm Spa instead and spent a wonderful day (and a not insignificant amount of money) enjoying the thermal spa facilities. "
"Easy walking distance to old Quebec City.
The pool was being painted on the 2nd day I arrived so I could only use it the one day.
The pool was nicely heated so even though it was cool day it was beautiful. "
"We just completed a three night stay here on the recommendation of a colleague. We could not have been happier with our stay. Everything was fabulous. The room was immaculate. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was quiet and conviently located. We will definitely be back! "
"We loved our stay at Acadia Hotel. Room was lovely and spotless. All the staff were welcoming and very friendly. Great location! We would not hesitate to recommend the Acadia to our friends and family and would be happy to stay again.
Note: There isn’t an elevator but that’s not such a bad thing considering all the delicious food you will be consuming!"
"I visited Quebec City on my own and without recommendations from anyone. I could not have picked a better hotel. It is beautiful and clean. The staff was exceptional!! They answered all my questions and helped me navigate my way as needed. I did not go to the pool but it is beautiful and many people to advantage of it and was never overcrowded. I wish I had gotten in inside balcony room. You don’t stay in your room much but such an amazing option."
