The Roosevelt Room:

Off foyer, Great Room/Game Room with comfy seating for TV viewing,

cozy fireplace, pool table, and games for family fun.

Beautiful dining room with large dining table, overlooking The Roosevelt Room, perfect for family entertaining.

Large kitchen with all the amenities of home, well-stocked for entertaining, breakfast bar,

large Jen Air stove, wall oven/microwave and large refrigerator.

The Bistro Porch - Screened porch with bistro tables for waterfront dining, sitting area with books,

cozy fireplace (seasonal), butler and second beverage fridge for entertaining.

The Original Inn Keepers Quarters:

Assateague Room - private living room with wet bar, ice maker, wine fridge, beverage fridge,

fireplace, cozy gathering space with sofa and seating, piano,

with best view in the house overlooking Little Oyster Bay.

Sea inspired king bed suite adjacent to Assateague Room and sitting room/office,

private jet tub bath with Euorpean shower.

Full shower bathroom with full-sized washer/dryer laundry room adjacent to jet bathroom and kitchen

Second Floor Features:
Room 201 - Queen bed, garden theme suite with private jet bath, loveseat, twin desks, twin closests,

and shared balcony with table and chairs, with sunset view.

Room 202 - Maverick Suite - with horse theme, two twin beds, private jet bath,

window view of Little Oyster Bay and shared balcony access with Room 201.

Room 203 - Neversink Suite - island birds theme, master king bedroom with large master bath soaking jet tub

and seperate shower, private balcony overlooking Little Oyster Bay. Most spacious suite with sunrise views.

Third Floor Features:
Room 301 - Captains Quarters - nautical theme, king bed suite with private jet bath, private balcony

and Widow's Watch Tower with bar table and chairs overlooking Little Oyster Bay with breathtaking Sunrise View.

Family holiday at Cedar Gables

We enjoyed a lovely early Christmas gathering of extended family at Cedar Gables. The home was well laid out for group meals and socializing while offering plenty of privacy in the bedrooms and baths. We appreciated that it was beautifully decorated for Christmas when we arrived. Great views from many rooms. The only negative was that it was an unusually cold & windy weekend, but that’s Mother Nature! It was easy to imagine what a wonderful vacation spot it would be in better weather.
