This was almost a 5 star hotel stay. The property is large, newly renovated and the rooms are beautiful. We felt more like we were staying in an upper class condo than a hotel and the price was amazing. There's plenty of parking, the mall is steps away and there are plenty of dining and grocery options nearby.
However... the Aroma Bistro, which shares a parking lot with the hotel, offers guests discounts and is recommended by hotel staff... gave my husband severe food poisoning. Fortunately this happened on our last night, so didn't ruin our trip. But he became so ill, he actually ended up in the hospital as a result.
This is not the hotel's fault, of course, but since the restaurant shares the property, I thought it worth mentioning.
If not for that, it would have been an absolutely perfect stay.
