Really pleasantly surprised by my stay. The instructions to park and get inside were clear and correct with pictures, the room was exactly as expected, everything was labeled and easy to use. TV and WiFi worked great. The free parking permit was such a nice perk. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a great stay for me as a solo female traveler. I loved the location of the property and the outside seating area. My only issue was the bed did have a bad smell to it. Other than that it felt safe and cozy.

We loved our stay at the Villa Toscana! It is in a great location with lots of parking options and lots to do within walking distance. We just needed a place to stay for a cubs game and this was perfect! A great mix of hotel and bed and breakfast. Breakfast was great as well!

This was perfect for me - a solo traveler who doesn’t care too much about the property except for cleanliness and a comfortable bed. Villa Toscana is both of those things. It’s very close to Wrigley and convenient for me when visiting family. The property itself is an old home so it’s…old. It has the qualities of an older home. It’s not The Ritz but it’s clean and cozy and comfortable. I need to find out what sheets they use because they were so soft. I will 100% be staying again.

Budget-friendly solo stay in Chicago

Great place for a budget-friendly solo stay in Chicago. Helpful staff, friendly guests, great and plentiful breakfast and clear checkin and checkout instructions. I had the Moroccan room, whilst it is not a modern hotel room, it had everything I need, was spotlessly clean and had bags more charm than a Hilton!

Love this place its really convenient the management has excellente service and response only thing is the path to get into apartment 8 is pretty scarry most of the time haveing to encounter huge cat size rats not mice RATS running past you and not just one as you have to pass through and between garbage cans and under a front deck stairs to reach the room everytime although its not their fault since lakeview does have a large HUGE RAT infestation
To the left of the house this is pathway to getting to room “8”
Go under the front patio where you will encounter with rats every time mind you no lights under there at nite
Scary under the stairs then to the right
This is the area around the corner after encountering several rats running by your feet ughh your safe once you hit the stairs no lighting
