Easy for walk around. Big size room . Noisy main road traffic & also flights ( maybe whole C.Mai town get ✈️ noise cross ) . Front desk very helpful.
Breakfast very good ( so bargain price ).

Thank you for your kind review. Hopefully we can welcome you back. If you have any inconvenience during stay please inform us to improve service.
The Empire is located in a side street off the main road, close to the Maya Mall. It is a comfortable hotel but it is located at the end of the airport runway so planes take off every few minutes - which does make for a noisy stay!
The breakfast is standard for an Asian breakfast - but plentiful. The hotel has no restaurant but there are plenty of eating places in the locality.

This was a most amazing hotel experience! Fast check in, friendly staff, and super clean spacious room. I had no issues whatsoever. The AC was great even on these 100 degree days. Convenient to the airport, shops, restaurants, American fast food, and a very safe area. Even with a lot of nightlife there was no commotion to worry about. Live street entertainment until 11pm-midnight. Even very family friendly. Awesome experience.

the room that we were given was not cleaned, so we had to ask the front desk to change the room. room was outdated and electricity condition was not stable. especially when we inserted the room key to turn on the light in the room, there was always a big sound like firework.
the hotel, if not a condo, was well-located with great access to many attractions in nimman haemin area. but, i’m doubtful i would be coming back next time.
Decent and exactly what it should be for the price
This is a decent hotel for a good price in the best part of Chiang Mai.

Room is very spacious and clean but state of maintenance is not up to standard. The side i am staying in is next to the main road thus having some traffic noise. can request for the quiet facing side though. Overall value for money stay as hotel is never the main concern of the trip.

Stay somewhere else not here
Not the best hotel in Chiang Mai, stay elsewhere, welcome was not as nice at other cities in Thailand, beds were hard, Wifi was slow as snail did not work most times, extra towels were $ 3 usd, breakfast was not good at all, no egg station, most of the food was like lunch Rice etc

Sorry for the inconvenience, we would improve our service.
Very pleasant staff. Quiet street but handy to shops, restaurants, nicer bars and some great cafes. Clean and spacious rooms.

Nice and quiet
I liked the room and breakfast of this hotel. There are convenient store, banks and cafes nearby as well as a big shopping mall within a walking distance.

Room is spacious
the area is good, but it was a bit over-priced for the whole experience. I was expecting deluxe room like in the photos seen and stated from hotels.com but it was just plain room with basic essentials. The room is very spacious though.
a warm welcome when arrived at the entrance, with a friendly staff helping your luggage and cosy lobby to wait while checking in room, ..............well, dream on! don't expect any minimum service from this 'cold" service apartment. if you just need a shelter, then this is "over" price.

Location is great.
Staffs support is great.
Room is ok. Liquid soap and body lotion should be provided for bathing.
Given Internet connection (username and password) was not working. Luckily staff gave me spare connection password. Great help.
Breakfast was great.
Parking area is sufficient with security guards.
Bed mattress is rather old. Pillow is rather thin.

Location is excellent. There is a car park under building for guests , but I suggest if you don't like carrying luggage up stairs : Drop the luggage off before going into car park. Very clean and tidy with wonderful pictures being shown on a screen of there lovely colorful dbl deluxe & superior rooms. So we were anxious to get to the room to discover which style we got. Was disappointed- even though we paid for a dble deluxe suite we didn't one as displayed. We got the one everyone forgot about. The big peep hole cover on door didn't stay closed , had some paper wedged in. TV worked but guide was a piece of well used a4 paper in a plastic sleeve that didn't match the channels. Couldn't reach toilet roll from toilet : on the far wall. Looking for information folder to look for breakfast times . None to be found. Went to reception ( 3 staff behind desk) Asked if we were given a dbl deluxe room , what time breakfast was and does hotel provide any services for there guests. Was told by 1 staff member " 6.30 we give voucher in morning , you collect before" then she sat down and started talking to other staff . I live in Thailand and am accustomed particularly during this mourning period. My attire was respectful ( black) , spoke respectfully, etc and found that I wasn't going to get a response. So gave up. Next morning went to get breakfast voucher, she didn't have in voucher box. Eventually proved that I paid for breakfast with room . Breakfast basic. Issues are fixable by staff
It is a great stay at this hotel, so close to everything, the small restaurants, the MAYA shopping mall, and night markets. great location. if you are a light sleeper, then rooms near streets could be noisy at night. One thing i really dont like is that their wifi keeps disconnecting all the time so i have to reconnect like more than ten times in one day. one device one username and password is also not very convenient
Stayed during the week after Yee Peng Festival. Location is convenient right in the center of the main Nimman Road for walking distance to several Restaurants/Bars and the new Maya Mall. Location is mostly for local college students since it is close to the University. Hotel is good and serviced daily. I tried this area the second week during my stay. I prefer being closer to the Ping River on the West side of the Old City.
Great spot, everything works and in the best area.
This is a nice apart hotel, clean and comfy, near the main road and the best part of town for restaurants and beer houses. The wifi had to be reset/signed on many times per day, but worked fine. The gym is small but for a good workout u can go to powerhouse fitness a block away for 400 bhats a day or less if u go more days. No pool. The complex where the gym is is called punna residence and is much better then this one, but of course cost a bit more, for qulality and value this was a great deal.
Lovely place to stay. Great location with many restaurants on your doorstep. Massive shopping mall 100 meters away if you want to shop. Highly recommend hotel.
