Very good hotel with a GREAT restaurant

We stayed at this hotel with our dog. We really appreciate them allowing dogs as so few hotels will. The hotel is very clean and the staff were nice, especially the young woman serving us in the restaurant. The hallway to the rooms is very wide and the ceramic tiles on the floor seem to not buffer the noise as people roll their suitcases along the hallway. It was horrible and luckily we were at the end of the hallway so we didn’t have many people passing by. We don’t usually eat at hotel restaurants but for convenience we did the first night. It was so good that we continued to eat most meals there. The food was so good!! We sat outside every time so that our dog could sit under our chair. The pool is very nice and the water was warm. All around I would suggest this hotel especially if you have a pet.

We rented a few rooms on different floors, for a birthday trip and each room had it's own issue. Firstly, no welcome drink as listed upon booking. Then they were seemingly "booked out" with a dirty pool that none of the guest could make use of. People did take their chance with the dirty pool water, but that looked like an infection waiting to happen. We asked them to have it cleaned asap. It was partially cleaned the following day. On the night of August 16th, one of the rooms had no water and the A/C was not working. When hotel staff was alerted, all they said was "we're working on it". One of the rooms on the 2nd floor had a faulty A/C that dripped throughout the room and left the hallway pretty much soaked. Yet another safety hazard that was not properly handled by the hotel staff. Then my room had a terrible smell throughout the weekend. Their drainage system seemed to be backing up or something of the sort because that is what the room smelt like, a drain. Overall the staff was not very welcoming to our party and we have no plans of returning. It's not somewhere I'd recommend to my friends or family.
