We made use of the outside bar-b-q, the paddle boards, and kayaks. The home is spacious, well designed for cross breezes if you don’t want to use the air conditioning. "The house was a perfect beach house and the backyard and pool were amazing. Mike who helps take care of the house was really helpful during our stay and we found the house to be very comfortable. The area is very safe and peaceful. The beach that is a short walking distance is swimmable but a bit eroded (like most of the coastline). But the beach about 10 minutes drive (past Chuburná) was truly awesome with turquoise clear water, a large expanse of white sand, shallow enough for kids to play safely, and not overrun with other people. "

"Our trip could not have been better due to the beautiful house and the nicest owners. The home is perfectly located in a quiet area, yet so close to everything you could need. Walking out of your door onto the sand every morning, seeing the turquoise water, is like living in a dream. We spent so many days just lying on the beach, or under the shaded area on lounge chairs, and wading into the water whenever we needed to cool off. Having the pool was also great, since we could just stare out at the ocean while relaxing in the water. The beach was never crowded. Some days we saw 15-20 people TOTAL, some days we saw NONE! It felt really private and so relaxing. Not overrun at all. I cannot say enough nice things about the owners, Lizette and Gino. They are so kind, very responsive about recommendations, and they truly want to help you have an amazing trip. They love the area, and they love sharing it. The nearby restaurants were great, everything from casual breakfast places, to very high end cuisine, and everything in between. We could easily buy fresh fruit, basic groceries, or stop by the 24-hour pharmacy for any needs. The area is very convenient for everything. We ventured to Progresso for meals a few times, which was very fun, and then we were happy to be back in our sweet quiet spot in Chilem. Can't recommend this home enough! We can't wait to go back. "
