「Room was pretty shabby , needing refurbishment but very clean. The mattress was very soft and could do with replacing.
As the room was painted in dark colours it made it feel very small but the lighting over the bed made reading comfortable.
The room I had overlooked the outside beer garden which had lights on all night. The shutters did not keep the light out.
As a woman on her own I noticed there was no bolt or chain from the inside but I did feel safe.
The bar downstairs was really pleasant...
