"The staff upon arrival was welcoming and attentive. The hotel is stunning and well maintained. The room was spacious and very well decorated with high end finishes. The bed was comfortable and the pillow choices were a nice touch. The bathrobes and slippers were appreciated after a nice hot shower with great water pressure. "Close to historic center. Nice small apartment with kitchen. If you're not used to Cuenca, be prepared for cold nights and no hotel has heaters. Unfortunately there was a couple of smoke detectors that kept beeping all night throughout the hotel. They do offer an included friendly breakfast at a nearby hotel restaurant. "
