The house is located below the Wine Route, in a dead end, in the heart of a quiet area. We are ideally located for hiking departures.
The terrace, to which our visitors have access, overlooks a large garden.

Châtenois is a tourist village, green resort, and village with 3 flowers.
Major events: Slow Up circuit (first Sunday in June) and medieval festival "La fête des remparts" (2nd Sunday in June).

The village is also close to Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr and Kaysersberg, cities known for their Christmas and spring markets in particular, as well as Colmar (25 km) and Strasbourg (50 km).

Ste-Marie-aux-Mines, where the international exhibition "Mineral & Gem" takes place annually (June 27-30, 2019) and the patchwork crossroads (September 12-15, 2019), is 20 km away.
Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, one of the most visited sites in Alsace, is 10 km away. The Volerie des aigles and the Montagne des singes are also nearby.
Europa Park, the world's largest seasonal amusement and leisure park, is 40 km away and the German border is 20 km away.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans votre belle région Quant au gîte, tout est parfait et tout est pensé : accès, serviette, plaid en plus, bureau, petit frigo, literie confortable… Vraiment au top il n’y a rien sauf à bientôt !

Vicino all'autostrada, quindi le principali località turistiche sono facilmente raggiungibili. Il soggiorno è stato davvero piacevole e sono stati tutti super gentili. Ottima la colazione. Assolutamente consigliato.

Sehr ruhig und idealer Ort nach einer 70 km- Fahrradtour zu Übernachten

Das Haus ist etwas verwinkelt in einem Wohngebiet zu finden, kann jedoch sehr gut erreicht werden. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich und gut ausgestattet. Das Bad macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Zusätzlicher Service von Handtüchern und Waschlappen wird angeboten. Die Familie ist nett und hilfsbereit. Kommen Sie mit dem Fahrrad, kann man es problemlos in der Garage abstellen. Für einen Preis von 6€ können Sie ein Frühstück erhalten.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse de Laurence. Le confort des chambres, qualité du matelas et du coussin (souvent négligé dans nos autres expériences similaires...). Et l'excellent petit déjeuner ! Intolérante au gluten, j'ai eu droit à un kouglof au petit épeautre. On reviendra avec plaisir !

Schoon en mooi huis, rustige wijk, mooi dorpje, kort bij fietspad

We hebben een zeer leuk verblijf gehad bij lieve mensen die ook goed engels en duits spreken. De Elzas was van daaruit naar alle richtingen goed te verkennen. Mooie tochten met de fiets gemaakt over het europees fietspad naar Ribbeauville, Kayserberg en Barr. De gastvrijheid van de eigenaars van het gastverblijf was super en hierdoor hadden wij een erg leuke midweekse vakantie.
