"This is a reasonable priced, quiet and well maintained hotel/hostel located between the international airport and city centre of Fort de France. It took me just over an hour to walk to central Fort de France and the ferry terminal. The hotel has plenty of free secure parking for guests. My room was clean and spacious with a balcony offering a nice view of Mount Pelee. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was efficient, the wall mounted TV had several channels and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom was large with excellent water pressure and copious amounts of hot water. The wifi reception was excellent. The hotel staff were all courteous, professional and English speaking. Breakfast was included for guests and it had lots of variety. The food available was fresh and delicious. The restaurant located on the main floor beside reception had excellent food during the set hours for lunch and dinner. The hotel was very quiet overnight so I always enjoyed a good night’s sleep. All in all this was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Fort de France."

"We needed space for our group of 4 adults and we got it. The apartment (up two flights of stairs, one outside, one inside) was large, with a dining room table that filled what was probably once a living room. The price was also right. But the apartment is located on a busy street, far from walking distance from anything and far from public transit (to the extent that that there is any). The biggest problem is that the apartment wasn't really ready for the type of occupation we normally enjoy. When we arrived there was no soap, spare toilet paper, garbage bags, in fact, nothing. We were directed to a large Carrefour grocery store well down the hill, which we eventually found, thanks to GPS. The parking on site is a bit awkward but it works. The stairs outside have some problems - loose tiles, etc. If price is your main consideration, this property's three bedrooms are a good answer. But there's not much else to it than a low price, in a neighbourhood with nothing to offer and far from shopping. You must have a car,and you better know how to use the GPS sytem. Otherwise, Fort de France is a nightmare."
