"My only complaint is that we were there for graduation at Michigan Tech. They surge priced us for the room so we ended up paying $500 + a night. For that much, I would expect the extra $300 or whatever would be going towards bringing more people on for the weekend to help with the greater number of guests. Having to ask for multiple items at breakfast because no one was closing monitoring was just annoying solely because where was my money going to then?! I honestly wouldn't have been frustrated except $500!! Anyway, the welcoming chocolate chip cookies were nice."

"We absolutely loved this cabin. We needed this getaway. And it was absolutely perfect. The view was incredible and we even had an eagle land in one of the trees about 30 ft away from us and we got to watch it fish. The cabin itself was just what we were looking for something small and cozy and the fireplace was amazing to have. We will definitely be coming back again. As We didn’t want to leave"

"We booked this property a year in advance of our sons graduation from MTU. The place was great, plenty of room to spread out in for our family. We all enjoyed walking around the property exploring and just hanging out. Jackie was friendly and great communicator. Highly recommend!"
