Spacious lakefront home with one of the best lots on all of Lake Norman.

  • Enjoy time with your family and friends in this large lake house. It is located on a private cove, just off the main channel. Walk around on stone and brick pathways while enjoying the surroundings. Take a seat at the one of a kind fire pit to unwind after a long day. This property allows you to connect with nature and maybe even have a sighting of albino squirrels. Walk over to the tiki hut to grab a fishing pole or beverage, then off to the boat dock for a sunset. The newer boat dock has everything you need to enjoy your time at The Blue Pelican. Look and see main channel views of Lake Norman, but make sure to get ready for the sunset. The landscape is unbelievable with several varieties of azaleas, Japanese maples and rhododendrons. The 6000 sq ft. house has room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their vacation. You have your own small private beach with steps into the lake making it easy to paddle board or swimming. The home has views of the lake in every room.

This house was PERFECT for our stay. It was a GREAT location and so spacious both inside and out. The host was extremely helpful and gave great instructions. He was flawless. It had so many places to sleep and the TV room with the ping pong table was a great place and so entertaining for 15 people. The outside was also beautiful and well kept. It was a perfect place for my son to propose and celebrate the joint of two large families. In fact my future DIL said she wanted to use this place when she gets engaged.

Family Reunion finale

Our west coast family was visiting NC for a large reunion. The second half of their stay was at LKN and we found this house to be a perfect blend of comfort and water fun. The adults enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the deck, the teens enjoyed the game room, and my visiting grandson thought the kid's playroom was great. The host was very accommodating and made sure that arrival through departure was smooth.

Homey but pricey

No icemakers, we bought and left ice trays. Ovens & air fryer were filthy. Charcoal grill filthy and tiny. Needs more bathroom showers and bedroom closets. Only one remote for both upstairs and downstairs TVs. Homey, “lived in” lots of personal belongings left by owners. Bonus toy room was fantastic. Spacious living room and back deck. Very nice pier and dock. With all that being said, we did enjoy our stay. However, next time we’ll rent elsewhere as it is a pricey place to stay.
