Lake Front Getaway, Family Friendly.

Enjoy the lake life and relax at Bally K, a cozy 3-bedroom cottage on a secluded 1.5-acre waterfront lot. 28 mins from downtown Charlotte, 5 minutes from I-77, in the gold zone for retail and amenities.

This is a low-slope lot. Everybody gets easy access to the water. No steps to climb at the dock, no steps to climb to get home.

Recently renovated with a new kitchen, hardwood floors, and new furnishings. Covered and screened-in porch with dining area. Open deck with great views of the lake.

30' x 30' floating dock. Deepwater lot with 12' - 18' of water at the pier, depending on the season. (12' in winter) Covered gazebo located over the water to enjoy those Lake Norman sunsets.

Get unlimited use of the 4 kayaks and the 2 stand-up paddleboards, all free with rental. Launch them from the dock or the sandy beach at the water's edge. Swim in the safe and protected private bay, no boat traffic, perfect for children of all ages.

Bring your boat, and put it in at Haggar Creek public access. Navigate less than 1/2 a mile back to our pier, and tie it up in the private boat slip.

Time Warner cable with Disney, Nick, Nick Jr, Boomerang, and all of the kid channels. Play Station, Wii, with lots of games. Great place for kids to enjoy their summer vacation.

Free broadband WiFi

10 min drive to Target, Best Buy, Sam's, Wall-Mart, Dick's, Belk's, and more. 10-minute drive to great food or take your boat to one of the many lakefront restaurants.

The cottage was perfect! Very clean and comfortable. It was so cozy that we felt like we were home! The lake property is amazing even though a cold front hit right when we got there. We had a fire in the fire pit that is located right by the water! We will definitely stay here again!

It was incredible. I wish I could’ve been there longer. I would love to come back with my kids next time. The peacefulness of the location, the amenities including the hang out spot at the dock, the communication with the owner, everything was superb. Highly recommend!

Great place! We enjoyed the home with all the amenities. The walk down to the lake was easy with no steps or hills, there were plenty or kayaks and paddle boards for us all to enjoy. We will be back!

What a wonderful cozy place to stay! The lot has an amazing view of the water and the new dock was a wonderful place to stay, play, and dock the boat. We stayed for a week and made so many beautiful memories. Everything is even better in person! Shops, and restaurants are within 10-minute range. We walked in the morning and enjoyed the area. Kids loved to see deers walking in the forest. We would definitely stay again! Absolutely a gem!

Perfect Lakeside Cottage

Very much enjoyed our stay again! Thank you for sharing your home, and all the extras! We had a relaxing time and cannot wait to return! Comfy beds, screened-in porch with plenty of seating, the dock furniture was great for evening fishing or hanging out, and the sunning deck with umbrella is perfect for lounging. Loved the new couch and chair as well, and that the kitchen is always well stocked! Quality finishes make this one feel comfortable and like home!

Relaxing stay

The house is wonderful and the views were instantly relaxing! I stayed for a few days while in town visiting my parents who also stayed. It was the perfect location, tucked back into a quiet residential neighborhood but close to restaurants and stores. The dock and spacious back porch were beautiful! We took the kayaks out for a spin on the lake and my parents really enjoyed their time. The hosts were responsive and the house was immaculate. I plan to return again!

Weekend getaway

Wonderful weekend getaway. Convenient location for food, and amazing home. Very clean and had tons of entertainment options for the kids. We selected this rental based on the ease of access from the home to the water (no steps) and it exceeded all expectations. Would love to revisit this home again!

Wonderful stay

The place was lovely; simple and calm; the view spectacular; the thoughtfulness of the hosts to provide treats and flowers and the ease of not having to deal with bedding and towels made the stay so easy. Having the water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, large float, big ball) available made it extra fun! Thank you for a lovely stay!

A perfect week on Lake Norman!

In addition to Tim & Katherine being accommodating hosts, the peaceful cottage was very clean and well-appointed with a full kitchen & linens. The view from the screen porch is serene & the fishing from dock proved to be successful!

Summertime Cottage

We loved staying at Bally-K. Despite the dreadful heat and humidity, it was so lovely to be in a simple, cozy cottage in a small cove. Quiet, relaxing, and welcoming. All things we needed were provided and more! From the flowers, to the treats - we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Great stay at Bally K!

We booked last minute to do some house hunting and found this gem! Bally K is in an idyllic setting nestled in a quiet cove on Lake Norman. Even bad weather couldn’t ruin our visit. The convenience of tying up our boat was a huge bonus.Tim was kind enough to assist us with the boat launching. The cottage exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival there was a generous fruit bowl and lovely flowers to welcome us. The whole place was sparkling clean and fresh.The bed was extra cozy and the shower was luxurious. Every night we grilled and made a fire in the family room. We would have preferred a sunnier week but Bally K was a delightful shelter from the storms. Looking forward to booking again soon!

Just no like home

My wife and I have stayed here 4 times and have enjoyed each time and have felt at home. Good, quiet location with relaxing porch and deck. Only 10 minutes to grocery stores… we will be back.

We had an absolute amazing time during our stay. Everything was perfect. We brought our son and his GF to celebrate surviving their first year of college. The weather was unbelievable. We had lots of good food, went kayaking, rented a boat, and enjoyed our lakeside fires. I highly recommend and look forward to our next stay. It was perfection!

From Beach Bums to Lake Lovers

Like being home.. but with better view

My wife and I have been using this home for 5 last vacations. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Cozy home with all the amenities. Lake front is good for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc…. 10 mins from restaurants and grocery stores. Our children and grandkids come visit for a day and they always look forward to coming. Will be back!

Hidden Gem!

We were in love from the moment we turned into the driveway! Breathtaking view of the lake, cozy and inviting entrance to the cottage with windows that allowed views of the backyard and dock…just perfect for our week to enjoy the lake with family and friends. Fantastic Relaxation in a Cozy Cottage

Perfect cottage to just unwind and relax at. The Host!!!!!!! These folks know what being a host is all about and they strive to be the perfect host. They take of their property and go to extremes to welcome you so you can enjoy your time. Everything you need is there from kitchen appliances, to the paper towels. All of us were impressed and thankful for their extra effort for us to enjoy. WE DID enjoy our stay.
