"We enjoyed our Suite at The Earl. We enjoyed the large rooms, the many windows, and the balcony. We had to leave early, and had no time for breakfast. The breakfast food looked appealing."

"Architectural wonder was Half House. Low ceilings, narrow hallway & a secret bedroom that relieved us thinking we’d be sharing the bed. The pathway to the house is challenging for those with mobility issues . The view of Lake Michigan sunsets were spectacular! A GREAT location in Charlivoix"

Nov 5, 2019Went to watch Iceman Cometh mountain bike race, 30 miles of trails from Kalkaska to Traverse City. Over 5000 riders/racers competing for prize money and trophies.Very exciting!

Nov 4, 2019Many great local restaurants!The Charlevoix Pizza Company has amazing thin crisry crust chicken bacon ranch pizza. Pig's Eating Ribs has great shakes and bbq with sides. Smoke on the Water has great breakfast. Sour cream and lemon curd pancakes.

Oct 12, 2019We went to Charlevoix for the Applefest. Even though the weather was less than ideal, everyone we met was open and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to visit this event again in the future.
