This place was very nice! Loved the flower theme and our room was very comfortable. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and they made a great breakfast! Staying here was a nice enhancement to our Charlevoix trip.

Safe place for women traveling alone

I came in for a wedding, the bed in the zinnia room was firm but comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Had a ceiling fan which I always sleep with, cookies down stairs. Bathroom was big and clean with a makeup removal towel. Hot water and great water pressure. Host made a great breakfast and the bacon was my favorite. Quiet and private. Much better and safer than a hotel. Very friendly, comfortable and clean. Definitely will be coming back.

The perfect spot

We truly enjoyed our stay at the at The Sunflower Inn. The room was clean and comfortable — probably the best night of sleep I’ve had away from home in a long time. It was our first time staying at a B&B and it was such a treat to wake up each morning to the smell of bacon cooking. Breakfast was delicious and conversation with our hosts & the other guests was a great way to start the day. It’s a great place to stay in general, but especially great if you’re in town for a wedding at Castle Farms — only a short drive away & you don’t have to worry about getting stuck at the drawbridge. My only complaint is the room we stayed in did not have a bathroom attached, so we had to go downstairs. When we make a return visit (and we plan to!), we’ll probably book a different room.

We highly recommend the Sunflower Inn. The owners are very organized, super hosts in our opinion. Everything was top notch, along with a beautiful home in a great location. The delicious breakfast was a great way to top off a perfect place to stay! Will definitely come again!

Two of us stayed the night in Charlevoix and checked in later than planned—this was not a problem for our hosts. They are both very friendly and accommodating and served a nice breakfast in the morning.

This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast. My husband and I stayed here for the weekend for a wedding in East Jordan. Our experience was incredible!
