「We went to Chandragiri Hills for two nights in Oct 2024 in the hopes of seeing clear views of the Himalayas, and Mount Everest. We were not disappointed. The best time to see the mountains is early morning. With luck, it will be clear enough to see Annapurna and Mount Everest. We were lucky enough to see both.
The property was nice, comfortable, and the restaurant had great food. 」

Unlike the hotel in Thamel, this hotel in Kirtipur had clean air, nice scenery, and a calm atmosphere.
The meals prepared by owner's wife were very delicious and gave me a good memory of my stay in Nepal.

Helium was a fantastic host, always polite and ready to help us however we needed. House was clean and bedroom was as described. Our flight was late in the evening so we were allowed to stay an extra 6 hours and Helium even went to collect some food. Breakfast was tasty and very filling. We loved it here and plan to return. 「The room was old and looked different from the impression given by the photos. However, it was well cleaned. The gas stove in the kitchen had very weak flames, and the microwave was broken. Some rooms had a musty smell or even smelled like a toilet.
The location was good, with everything necessary for daily life within walking distance, making it suitable for a long-term stay. The staff were very kind.
However, I found the price to be disproportionately high. I paid around 11,000~12,000 rupees...
