The food here is also really good although a little pricy once the tax is added on but that is the same everywhere we have visited in Santo Domingo. "We had an ocean view on two sides of our room. Breakfast was awesome! It was a full breakfast with so many choices including omelets, quiche, breads, sweets, cheese, fruit, and local specials like fried cheese, fried salami, and mangú. The staff at breakfast was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the pool, the bar at the pool, food and drinks at the bar in the lobby, and room service. Food and drinks were reasonable especially for a hotel. They provided bottles of water every day for drinking and coffee. The only thing “missing” was a mini fridge for any leftover food or to keep a few beverages cold. The little cafe did offer beer and soda which was always cold so it wasn’t a big deal."
