"The property and room were nice enough. It’s right down the road from a decent size shopping center with a Sam’s Club and Walmart. So it’s in a very convenient spot right outside of the city. We just stayed one night and the room was fine for the one night. For an extended stay I was surprised they did not have dish soap available for the dishes."

"We didn’t stay. The owner/manager was very nice, but that was the only good part. Our room was at the end of the back row of rooms, which was also next to the building where there was a fire at some point, but nothing has been done to clean it up. To top it off, there was a man sitting in a lawn chair in front of the burnt building reading a book, who looked like a grown version of Huckleberry Finn, right off the river. The room had a moldy smell and was grimy, like they change the sheets and wipe a used towel over the surface, but that was it. I honestly didn’t feel safe. The owner refunded our money very apologetically."

"We've stayed at this Hampton Inn many times and we always know that we will have a clean room and friendly, helpful staff. I was greeted every morning with a smiling face and a good attitude - very much appreciated! We've tried other hotels in the area when visiting family in Wichita, but none compare. I know that they renovated several years ago and may need to again in the next year or so, but that's only because it's a very busy hotel - normal wear and tear will make that necessary. I know that we'll be back this summer and this is our hotel of choice! Excellent place to stay!"
