"Very chill, family-run place. It’s almost like walking into a family cottage than a hotel, in a good way. We stayed only for a few hours - we had checked out of a different hotel in Goreme in the morning, and had all day to explore Avanos until our flight at night. We also wanted to catch some sleep before our flight so Akman was perfect since the rooms were very inexpensive. "Pros: Perfect location with a good river view. Cons: The parking lot isn't accessible without asking the hotel staff about its location ( Off-site parking in a maze full of one-way streets) Another point to mention is: THE WALLS ARE VERY THIN AND NOT SOUNDPROOF. We woke up at 2 AM because the next door room were hooking up loudly! Also, in the toilet you can enjoy chatting with the other room toilet visitors if you wish( Exactly as we are sharing place together). "
