High Tide Inn

"I have so many wonderful things to say about The High Tide Inn. I’m not sure where to begin. I’ll start with the staff. At check-in, Holly made me feel more welcomed than I have ever been at any other property. She was incredibly kind and helpful. She even anticipated my needs, showing me to the coffee bar. Throughout our three nights stay, she went above and beyond helping us research excursions to plan, places to see and things to do. On my first morning, I met the innkeeper, Mark. He was preparing the muffins and popovers for the breakfast the Inn offers. He took the time to talk with me, made sure all of my needs were being met, and he even assisted in preparing a special breakfast for our special needs son. The Inn itself is cozy and welcoming. The seating areas are warm and lovely, and the breakfast area offers a spectacular waterfront view. It is a very short walk down to the beach where I watched the sunrise each morning. The Inn has an outdoor seating area complete with an outdoor gas fireplace. The room was immaculate with quality toiletries provided. Each room has a refrigerator and a coffee maker, however, locally roasted coffee is provided in the breakfast room, along with tea and water. The High Tide Inn was exceptional in every aspect from the staff, to the service, to the property, to the amenities. I didn’t want to leave."

"Quiet, charming, close to the beach, and comfortable. My husband and I needed a place to hang our hat while we waited to close on a house and this was the perfect place! Maria was a gracious host who was easy to get a hold of, not that anything came up. If we didn’t buy a house right down the road, we would absolutely return."

"We enjoyed our stay at this charming home. You can tell a lot of love has been put into the renovations. It is delightful and well cared for! The French doors on the second bedroom were cute, the bathroom was nice, and the living area spacious. The TV is in a weird spot (most likely the only place it can go) and it does pull out from the wall, but was a bit awkward for 4 people to watch comfortably. (But really we were there to hike and explore so we only had it on in the evening.) great cubbies right inside the door for storage. Loved that!The deck was great for having coffee in the AM and dinner at night. We liked the proximity to Camden and the little public beach nearby as well as the state parks (especially Moose Point). A couple notes, the kitchen is partially renovated. Great fridge, nice dishwasher, but the cabinets and counter have not been finished yet. Plenty of forks but we ran out of knives every day and we could have used a couple more pots and pans - but it was fine for our simple one meal at the house a day. Alyssa was amazing with communication and we were an hour early for check in and she was wonderful about that too. I would 100% stay here again! Thanks for opening your home to us! We loved it!"

"This is such a great property, and Katherine was responsive and great. The house was clean and equipped with all of the essentials. The pull out bed was a smaller size than we expected, but even still the beds were all very comfortable. Our whole group noted that the kitchen equipment, appliances and grill were far better quality than most rentals we have stayed in. Would return again or recommend to friends!"
