We loved our stay at Glenmoor. The area is very peaceful, at least off season. We could see the ocean from our room, even though we were not ocean front. The staff was very accomodating. I would stay there again if I return to Maine.

This is a lovely, family-owned property. Our room was spacious and updated, with a nice bath area and shower amenities. There was a bench large enough for two suitcases and plenty of space to hang clothing, and another area with drawers and a TV. We could see the ocean from our patio table where we had the breakfast that was delivered to our room. It included coffee, juice, fresh blueberry chocolate chip muffins and egg bites. The landscaping was attractive and there was a fire in a firepit near the water with fires in the evenings. We did not have a chance to use the small pool, gym or laundry. The person I chatted with at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. Our stay was perfect!

great location-poor customer service

The property is amazing-we stayed in an ocean view, however the view was obstructed by trees and bushes, recommend trimming them. Requested an early check in around 2. Arrived early and was told room was not ready. We hung out by the pool and watched housekeeping drive from cabin to cabin cleaning. Called desk again and asked if room was ready, he told us he had no way of contacting housekeeping and they would notify him electronically when ready. (that didn't set a very good tone at all! Poor customer service. We were not impressed. Luckily the room made up for our stay and they property. We would stay again but request an ocean front so the view would be much better. Cabins are really cute and well equipped. Could use dusting though. Breakfast was delivered which is a really nice touch however it wasn't very good. a bread pudding, yogurt cup, coffee and juice.

The property is fabulous, but I found out that Expedia charged us $60 above the rate we would’ve been charged had I just called the hotel directly. They completely misled us. So do stay here, but don’t use Expedia to book it. We will return in the future and booked directly with the hotel. Also, the hotel delivers breakfast in the morning and it’s delicious! Highly recommend.

Loved Our Stay

We were looking for a location between Portland and Acadia National Park, and settled on the Camden area. We are so glad we did. Glenmore by the Sea was perfect for us! Our little cottage was a perfect home-away-from-home. The setting and landscaping are beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were great and delivered quietly to our door. We got great nights of sleep there due to the quiet atmosphere all around and the comfortable bed. The shower head had the best water pressure of any we have ever encountered--even better than ours here at home! Staff were friendly and helpful. We needed to know a good pizza place and they directed us to a terrific spot. We can't recommend it highly enough!

They happened to have a room available last minute last year when we had a family medical emergency. Easy check in with super friendly and kind people. The room was super clean and had a nice deck to enjoy some needed quiet after all the chaos. I was surprised to be woken up to a super delicious breakfast with a thermos of hot ‘good’ coffee, orange juice, hot egg dish and muffin! Just yummy!!! No time to enjoy the fire pit (& s’mores) offering, or swimming pool, but an early morning walk to the shore below the cabins was enjoyable and refreshing. Brought the family back this year and they were equally impressed! We will be back

I do a lot of traveling and this place is resally nice ! The Customer service is outstanding and the rooms are beautiful!!!!!! I would highly recommend staying here ! Very well priced and breakfast is delivered to you in the morning !!!!
