"Hotel was in a great location, with a balcony overlooking the beach (from across the street), and a short walk to downtown area and up to La Rocca! Hotel itself is a bit of a step back in time but suited our needs and had a nice breakfast. A few minor challenges, hairdryer didn’t work, shower didn’t drain properly, and had to leave room key each time you left the hotel, which we had never come across before but otherwise worked well for us. "

"Nous avons été agréablement surpris par cet établissement. Malgré un décor du passé, la chambre était très propre et confortable comme l’ensemble de l’hôtel. Le personnel très courtois. Nous avions un balcon avec vue sur l’extraordinaire piscine (récemment rénovée?) et vue partielle sur l’océan. Le déjeuner inclus était de très bonne qualité. L’hôtel est situé à environ 15 minutes à pied du centre qui se fait sur un magnifique « boardwalk ». On aurait dû y rester plus longtemps!"

"A beautiful hotel with sweeping views towards sea and mountains. Serene and peaceful and with lovely gardens and pool. Room quite small but compact - excellent bed and shower. Staff all helpful and charming. Excellent breakfast - buffet plus eggs to order and stunning views from the restaurant. Complimentary tuktuk pickup from town was a great help and easy to find taxis after hours for the steep climb uphill. Highly recommend. "

"The staff were extremely couteous and helpful. The location was superb. The building was gorgeous. The 12 noon checkout time allowed for a lisurely morning and extra sightseeing. Running along the seafront was great exercise."
