We absolutely loved our stayed here! Staff were fantastic, had 2 great dinners at their outdoor garden restaurant. Quiet & peaceful, nice pool! This was a highlight of our trip to Sicily! Be sure to check out the roof top patio!

The hotel was in a beautiful location but not conveniently located to the Cefalù downtown. The shuttles they offer do not run during ‘off season,’ the children’s playground was not open/available, the food is very limited and the dinner quality was not what one would expect (especially for the price). Pia, the pool bar staffer, was exceptional. They single handedly made our kiddos stay!

Looks Lovely but Very Disappointing

Rooftop room was lovely (compared to the rest) and hotel was clean. Shower was lovely and view from balcony great. Service was poor. Awful even. Hotel completley out the way of a shop, bar, resturant (miles away)....you need a car. Beach?? What beach?? Tried asking reception after walking round looking for it only to find out it's all private roads ....... Reception couldn't tell us. They just didn't care. So didn't see the beach. Breakfast was lovely but a little manic with everyone scrambling around. Pool is not what it looks like on website. Just a small square surrounded by brick wall. Tennis court was good. Parking was spot on. Would I go back?? No! If it had things around it and better service then yes.

Soggiorno bello e rilassante

Soggiorno splendido, albergo molto confortevole e tranquillo, servizio navetta alla spiaggia privata anche se vicinissima all'hotel, piscina, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Per andare in paese è però necessario prendere un taxi.

Kjempe dårlig! Frokosten veldig kjip og kjedelig. Kjøpte lunsj en gang på hotellet, sendt rett i retur, kan ikke kalle det der pasta i Italia, skam. Hold dere unna maten! Hotellet er veldig gammeldags, men jeg vi si rent. Rengjørings personellet er super hyggelig, brettet pysj som en blomst, og gjorde en bra jobb. Servitøren(dame), veldig sur og ubehagelig. Das Hotel ist schön gelegen und Zimmer und Aussicht aufs Meer sind ausserordentlich. Die Freundlichkeit des Frühstückspersonals liess teilweise zu wünschen übrig. (Kein gutes Zeichen, wenn die Kellner lauter sind als die Gäste). Auch wenn die Saison offiziell zu Ende ist, könnte man am Strand und am Pool mindestens einige Sonnenschirme erwarten. Der „angebotene“ Shuttle zum Strand war nicht existent.

Nice hotel and convenient location

We stayed for 4 nights. The rooms were very clean and had a balcony. Breakfast was ample with several good choices. The beach close to the hotel is rocky and not nice for swimming. We had a nice dinner as well. The location is perfect for visiting Monreale or Cefalu. We went several times to the beautiful sandy beach of Cefalu which had plenty of parking options. It’s also a cute city with really good restaurants

Very nice hotel & property about 5 km and not too far from town. Excellent staff/customer service and food was fantastic! It is location a short ride to the beach which is a private and quiet little enclave. The only thing we really didn’t like was that the beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable which did not allow for a good nights sleep but besides that, it was a nice little stay which also included live music on the patio adjacent the pool area. The staff in the restaurant were lots of fun and provided great customer service! Thank you

Hotel Baia Del Capitano is a very well run Hotel 2-3 mile from Cefalu. The room was spacious and the beds were large (Both myself and my wife are 6ft). The hotel runs a number of shuttle busses throughout the day to Cefalu for the Hotel guests. The Beach near the Hotel sits in a rocky bay approx 300m wide with ample swimming and snorkelling opportunities to see a large number of fish. The hotel has its own private area offering sun loungers and parasols on the sandy beach, at no further cost. The beach restaurant is well run and offers a good range of food and drink. The beach is approx 500m from the hotel, but the hotel offers a tut tut service to the beach which is fun. The food and drink offered at the hotel is of a very high standard.
