I’d like to say first that the property is beautiful and ornate like old world luxury but the service and staffing does not match that quality. We had to ask each day for room cleaning and fresh towels. Room service wasn’t answering phone and had to go down for food to in house restaurant which charges 18 percent service charge to take Food back to room. The front desk responds very slow or ignores request. Our tv stopped working And we had to ask 3 times for a technician to figure out what’s going on. The furniture is tattered and the aroma on the property is not that pleasant. Perhaps it’s the carpets. And the elevators! Again lovely historic details all over, but with 6 elevators in front lobby only one working is kind of ridiculous. Perhaps they are understaffed but it’s very noticeable and for four star establishment I am disappointed and dissatisfied.
