「Let me start by saying the staff there was excellent. He tried to help every possible way they could but from the start we had problems. The keys were not working and the The hotel needs a major update. The air conditioner was not working in the lobby. The pool was not working again and this is a second time this happened to us. The rooms were also a little bit outdated. Needs a total overhaul」

「The building was clean and appeared well maintained. Room and bed was nice. The breakfast was very nice but no pancakes. We would stay there again.」

「The swimming pool was closed for the season. The key cards didn't work properly on the back door nor on the room. The shower water was either scalding hot or wouldn't stay on. The tub floor was extremely slippery and dangerous. The breakfast was very good. The desk 'clerk' when checking out was far better than the night before. He seemed interested in getting things fixed.」

「Bed linens really fresh and luxurious. The space was spotless, uncluttered and serene. The grounds were well maintained, yet we felt we were in a rustic place. We walked the paths through the woods. The cabins are spaced so they are barely visible to one another...blessedly private! Only one minor suggestion: a larger, wall-hung mirror in bathroom.」

「This saved me hundreds of dollars for my visit rather than staying at a hotel. Very convenient location to downtown and Hwy. 64. Great space for one or two people. Good communication from host. Loved having a kitchen even though I didn’t need to cook. Had internet, tv, air and heating unit. A cool “rain” shower.」
