We arrived late at night to a property with zero outdoor lighting — it was completely pitch black. As two women traveling alone, this immediately felt unsafe. Inside, there were broken and missing bathroom blinds with no privacy, black residue on multiple walls, and most alarming, a front door lock that was not secure. 「My girlfriend and I were able to check into the property but were not happy with the cleanliness of the room. It was tidy and picked up but felt dirty. I found a dead cockroach on the ground and we decided to book another room elsewhere. We spent about 15 minutes in the room before leaving. 」

「This was a great stay. We were there for 3 nights and loved every bit of it. The bed was comfortable, it all had all the accommodations we could have needed, the host was very responsive and friendly the 2 times I did reach out to her (not about anything wrong), the outdoor seating area with soaking tub was so nice and the tub was very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed being here and definitely look forward to staying again if I return to the area. 」

「It was great, the only thing that was frustrating not having control of the Ac, had to text them to many times to cool the room where I was in plus I know is a pet free suite didn’t like dog hair all over me need to do a great clean after a pet stay. 」

「Love the Clarkdale lodge. But this last stay we had issues with the toilet not flushing well. The cable doesn’t work well on the tv either. Room is only stocked with 2 rolls of toilet paper. So if you are staying for a while. Pack TP. 」
