"Domaine de la Calm is a real joy, a perfect retreat from the noise and bustle of 21st century life. The owner, Erfan, gave us a very warm welcome and was on hand to give help and useful advice, as required. The house is spacious and well equipped with a lovely outdoor terrace, well shaded in the summer. It is adjacent to Erfan's farm with poultry and sheep- a dream for children ! There are wonderful views towards Carcassonne and the Pyrenees. Although in a quiet rural location, the nearby village of Cuxac Cabardes has an excellent bakery and a mini supermarket as well as a good restaurant. Carcassonne is within 25 minutes drive. I thoroughly recommend this wonderful retreat in the heart of the Montagne Noire."

It has stunning views over the mountains towards the Pyrenees. Although in a quiet location it is within easy reach of Cuxac Cabardes which has shops and a restaurant as well as being a 25 minute drive to Carcassonne.
