Castelo Sao Felipe

I arrived after hours and did nor realize they did not have a way to enter after hours. luckily someone was there to help. apparently there was a problem there with the room, so we had to go to another place, luckily we had a car. once there it was smooth, the room did not have windows or air conditioning, it was stifling hot, there were two fans to help. shared bathroom was clean and small, had to ask for towels. there was a small 'kitchen' space to use if needed.

I really wish we had stayed two nights. If you're looking for something different before heading to the airport: don't hesitate, book this hotel. Wonderful host, truly original concept, clean, spacious. The kids and we loved it.

Excellent value. My only complaints are things that would make it cost as much as a nice hotel like AC or private bathrooms. Appreciated the ability to store luggage during the day.
