"The rooms were spacious and clean and the grounds were beautiful. Plenty of parking and an easy drive to Obidos. Luckily we were there on a cool night so the lack of air conditioning was okay but a fan would be nice to keep the air moving. Breakfast was lack luster and the bed pillows could use updating. However, it was a really cute space to stay with a family for a few days"
"Clean and tidy, very beautiful, a little difficult to get to the rooms but the room is very spacious and large.
We really enjoyed it, too bad it was only one day!"
"It’s an authentic portuguese village. Don’t let the outside fool you the interior and the stay was outstanding. The host made it completely enjoyable and was super informative. Definitely will come back. "

"This hotel is a beautiful unique charm. The only improvement would be the need for newer mattresses."
"Auberge de type médiéval qui se fond avec la ville. Le soir venu, le calme tombe à l'intérieur des murs. Plusieurs restaurants sont à quelques pas de l'auberge. Le petit déjeuner offert à l'auberge est simple"
"You could not ask for a better location! Walk out, turn the corner and the main street is right there for you to peruse all the way down to the main entrance. There is also a cafe immediately next door for coffe in the morning. The house itself is three levels and full of character. Super fun to stay in! We were here in June, but still slept comfortable as Marcelo provided an ac unit next to the bed on the top floor. The only catch was getting to this airbnb. Whether you are staying in the hotel/castle or here, it's very difficult to get to with luggage as cars are not allowed to drive in. So be prepared for a bit of a hike as this is not very clearly laid out om the property details nor in the instructions on how to get there. Overall, we really liked the house and it's location."
