"We loved the location, inside the walls; we enjoyed walking along the castle walls and wandering the twisty, old, cobblestone streets. We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink. "Stayed for four days in the beachfront properties and they are super nice and have an amazing view of the beach. Having meals in the veranda either at sunrise or sunset it’s absolutely breathtaking. The pool is medium size but super nice and not busy at all. If you stay here, having a vehicle is a must as there aren’t many things within walking distance. Overall strongly recommend this place for the peace, quiet and breathtaking views."

"The team at the front desk, restaurants and those who are driving the shuttle deserve a huge amount of plaudits. They make the place run smoothly. Cheila on the front desk could not have been more helpful and helped us organise Snorkelling in Berlenga and Surfing in Peniche. The apartment and pool were perfect for the 6 of us. We didn’t play golf but the courses looked gorgeous"

"Hôtel original, rénové, à distance de marche de la vieille ville. Personnel très gentil et avenant. Très bon choix au déjeuner. Lit confortable. Le seul petit point négatif c'est que l'hôtel se trouve sur une rue assez passante, peut être bruyant la nuit si votre chambre est de ce côté. Nous avons fermé la fenêtre et opté pour la climatisation. Séjour d'une nuit, contente de mon choix!"

"A lovely, clean hotel with super friendly staff and situated in a perfect location to explore beautiful Obidos and the surrounding areas. Our one problem was the bed - Unbelievably hard mattress to sleep on leaving us both with disturbed sleeps and aching backs/hips :-( I would strongly suggest that the owners changed these ASAP - Probably to some sort of memory foam mattress that would cater for different needs."
