"This is a new property in old Las Vegas literally on Fremont St. That’s the good. Checkin was weird in they charged me $150 even though I prepaid on Expedia. They said I will get $100 back but let’s see. The $50 resort charge could be used for food but not at coffee shop and omelette was $27 at breakfast. Pool was sun/sun/sun and VERY loud. I had planned on staying 2 more nights on my return to LV next week but cancelled and staying at NY NY."

"Was very upset that when I arrived I was told no rooms were available and would have to wait 3-4 hours. Well that caused me to have to cancel my anniversary dinner plans because my husband and I had no way to get ready. So we walked around for a bit 3 hours went by went back up to check in to find out what’s going on and I noticed that people were getting their rooms but as I am over here waiting to get my room still after 3 hours. So I go up to the a desk lady and ask tell her the situation and she tells me I have to stand in this 30 people plus line . I am feeling a little frustrated since my husband and I were there to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and we still couldn’t freshen up and missed our dinner plans. So after I told the staff member that it wasn’t fair she decided to help me. My husband and I love staying at The D but was very frustrated with the situation. I was also told that they would do an upgrade but when we got to our room it was a normal room. Disappointed!!"
