"Everything about casa de campo was amazing . Staff was the best and paid attention to every detail. The golf courses are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever played and been on. Food was top tier. If you go SBG is an absolute must to eat dinner and watch the sunset. I highly recommend buying the all inclusive package because if you don’t , you will most definitely spend a lot more than you would plan on. Bring plenty of cash to tip. "

"Our stay at Villa del Portal in Casa de Campo was absolutely exceptional. Jeanette, our host, went above and beyond—helping us with everything from transportation and groceries to meal planning, extra golf carts, and linking us with the hotel concierge. Her communication was outstanding, and she even met us at the end of our visit. The in-house cook and housekeeper were fantastic—punctual, attentive, and they went above and beyond to make excellent meals and care for us. The property was perfect for our four separate groups, each having their own bedroom and en-suite bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy. The grounds were immaculate, with a fantastic pool and a beautiful backdrop onto the golf course. The villa’s central location gave us easy access to golf, the beach, and all the amenities. We would return in a heartbeat!"

We also really enjoyed the food—each meal was fresh, well prepared.Drew, the owner, was especially great to work with. He came by a few times, was very friendly and even golfed with the guys in our group! "We spent six wonderful nights at Ruth’s home and could not have been more comfortable.The house is beautiful, warm, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail feels intentional. The bedding and furniture are truly comfortable, on par with what we enjoy at home. This is not a place filled with generic or disposable furnishings. It feels lived in, cared for, and designed for real relaxation. That makes a big difference.We had everything we needed. We never once felt like we were missing anything. The space is ample, inviting, and perfect for both quiet family time and hosting friends. We had friends over for lunch one day, and everyone loved the home and the pool.The staff made this stay extraordinary.Hector spoiled us all week with incredible homemade food. He elevated our entire experience. Every meal was thoughtful, delicious, and prepared with care. Having him cook and grocery shop for us was such a gift. We loved everything he made.Fran is truly special. From putting on two meals a day to managing every household detail with precision and heart, nothing went unnoticed. She took care of us in every way and did it with such warmth and grace. We absolutely adored her.Brenda, Hector’s wife, helped care for our child and is a naturally loving, nurturing person. "The house is so beautiful, very relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is big and the master bedroom is humongous. The housekeeper she is so great and very nice. The only bad thing is the preasure of water is so weak. If you want to take a shower in the morning is not gonna happen because no water coming out even in the faucet. Other than that. Im definitely staying in this house again. We super love it. We had so much fun."

"We recently stayed here for a week with our daughter (who was born here in La Romana 40 years ago) and her family. The property is just lovely, exactly as pictured and described. Claudia the housekeeper kept it spotless and neat despite having 2 young kiddos running around. We bought ingredients for Dominican pollo y arroz con habichuelas and Claudia made us a wonderful lunch. Perfect! The villa had everything we needed, beautifully furnished and very comfortable too!Beautiful views of the golf course and very convenient location. The little pool was super clean and the kids loved it. It was lovely returning to Casa de Campo and couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.Our host’s communication was excellent. Always answered my questions quickly and just seemed like a very nice person. We highly recommend GV 52 and hope to return sometime soon. "
