I had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent, and the property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. The attention to detail was remarkable, and Andrea and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. They exceeded every expectation. I will definitely be returning—and soon. I’m extremely grateful for their attentiveness and for making my vacation truly memorable.
Wonderful home, fantastic location, exceptional staff. We were a group of 8 adults - lovely private bedrooms & baths, beautiful refreshing pool and dip pools on multi levels-lots of places to relax & read or explore the art throughout this unique & magical open air home! Staff was so helpful-food was terrific and Andrea our gracious host was so helpful 24/7. We wanted for nothing! We would definitely come back!!! Loved it
If you are considering a home of this size you will not find a better home, location and staff that make everything perfect. Don’t bother looking anywhere else. All of our family was thrilled with the entire experience here and stay at this gorgeous house. Complete decadence. Thank you so much Andrea and everyone there!
This trip and home exceeded my expectations in every way. Planned a trip for 10 friends to celebrate a birthday. This home was perfect. Spectacular home - so unique and beautiful. Well located in Cartagena with a magnification view of the wall and sea. The home itself is spectacular. So artfully decorated, spacious and comfortable with so many areas for groups to gather. Staff was so attentive. Andrea was amazing and helped not only with all arrangements for the home but also planning other events in Cartagena including a beach day, catamaran boating day, cooking class, salsa class and even a live band and dinner at the house. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Cartagena itself is a magical town and staying at this wonderful home will make your stay even more memorable.
Most memorable family trip with adult children and 2 year old
We had our four adult children, their partners, and our grandson and it will probably be our most memorable family trips. We may have had a bit of a language barrier with our chef and staff but by day 3 we all got in a great rhythm for making our stay even that much better. They made our breakfasts daily, did any laundry and we so helpful even with a language barrier. Andrea our hostess made herself available weeks prior to our stay. Arranged transportation, golf and other outings. Was totally safe and secure. Will go back
Wonderful home for a Holiday getaway to Cartagena. we have a family of 5 including 3 adult children so needed a place large enough for space for each but also central gathering space. The Home is beautiful, with space and charm on all the levels. we ended up spending most of our time on the ground floor open space and top floor overlooking the water. Andrea was a wonderful host, made sure we had transportation to the house, suggesting wonderful restaurant agenda / shopping for the experience. the staff (4 of them !) Carmelo, Muriel, Ciara and Anita were wonderful and took in stride my bad attempts at spanish. Would 100% return to this Casa if / when we return to Cartagena. BTW Colombians are wonderfully warm people and our visit made us want to visit more of the beautiful country. Steve C and family, Charlotte NC / NYC / Chicago USA
A lovely stay in Cartagena — stunning views and warm hospitality
Staying at this multi-story Colombian home in Cartagena for 10 days was a dream. Set along the sea wall, it offers breathtaking views—especially from the master bedroom, where sliding glass doors frame the ocean view. The first floor is striking, with soaring ceilings and artwork that gives the home both warmth and history—think Gabriel García Márquez meets Gauguin. A model boat in one of the main floor bedrooms adds a perfect maritime touch of Cartagena. The rooftop deck, with its small pool and open view of the sea, was our favorite place to unwind. There’s also a larger pool on the main level, complete with a Buddha statue, waterfall, and plenty of sunbeds—ideal for relaxing after exploring the walled city.Andrea and the house staff were exceptional. Mornings began with huevos pericos, arepas, toast, passion fruit and orange juice. The evening empanada gathering (which Andrea arranged), complete with a group salsa session, was a joyful highlight. This is more than a home—it’s an experience. Peaceful, vibrant, and full of heart. Don’t hesitate. Just book.
Words can't describe the beauty of this house. This was my second time staying here and I fell in love with the house all over again. It truly is a paradise within a paradise.
We had an amazing stay at Andrea's place in Cartagena. She was extremely helpful from the moment I booked our trip. We had a group of 11 girls in our early thirties and Andrea made the planning and the actual travel itself ver easy. With Andrea's recommendation, we decided to have several meals during our stay at the house and the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Her place is magical - you'll be lucky if you get to stay here!
Place was amazing. Better then advertised. This place was phenomal on all levels, from the accommodations to the art to the staff. Highly recommend giving the staff money to let them go get food and cook already one meal for you. Will def be back if I’m ever back in Cartegena
We had an absolutely incredible time. The historic home has beautiful outdoor spaces and courtyard style main areas with comfortable air conditioned bedrooms. The outdoor showers, multiple balcony sitting areas and pools allow a group to spread out and enjoy this historic and very conveniently located home in the heart of the old city. The in home cooked breakfasts and lunch were delicious. Would highly recommend adding that service. Andrea (homeowner) was immensely helpful with recommendations and coordinating the plans, too!
Cannot put into words how incredible this place and the owner/staff are for anyone traveling in Cartagena. The house was immaculate, with stunning views, perfect accommodations and incredible places to gather on every floor. Perfect location in the city as well with ocean views. In addition to the accommodations, the staff are the nicest, kindest group of people who make your stay ten times better. Andrea helped curate the perfect itinerary! She communicated all weeekend to make sure we had what we needed. I Would return to this place a thousand times over.
The love and enthusiasm that went into creating this home is apparent from the moment you walk in. It is beautiful. The staff is genuinely kind and was always there to help without being on top of you. Andrea the owner was always reachable. Congratulations to her and her team. My only complaint is that the house is so magnificent it makes you not want to leave!

Phenomenal service staff and location
This is by far the most amazing home we have stayed at. We are still speechless on how beautiful the home is and what an attentive host and stafff. They could not of made our stay more enjoyable. My husband wanted me to check availability for New Years but of course it was already taken. Cartagena is an amazing city with people that welcome you with open arms. Andrea thank you for sharing your home with us.
We travel extensively, from rustic to luxury. We stayed just over 3 weeks at Andrea's spectacular property and invited family and friends to come visit. Fantastic! The property is striking, the city captivating, the staff warm and generous, and Andrea a wealth of assistance on things to do, restaurants, etc.
Add on daily breakfast and some snacks/meals. Muriel makes the best ceviche and patacones in town! We had a birthday dinner one night that a 30-year old claims was " best ever!" complete with tres leches birthday cake.
We look forward to returning!
If it’s within your budget and available, book it.
The home is beautiful - elegant, yet very comfortable and cozy. Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for both congregating and also for spending time alone. It feels like someone’s lovingly cared for home, and not a vacation rental. The location is amazing- you are literally abutting the city walls and are facing the ocean. You can dip in the rooftop plunge pool or sit in the master bedroom hammock and look out over the ocean.
The space is amazing, but what makes the property special is the ownership and staff. Andrea was a terrific host - perfect mix of welcoming and helpful but not pushy at all. She communicated quickly, arranged transportation, made us dinner reservations (at a popular place with limited availability) and generally looked out for us. The staff at the house was so warm and friendly while being very unobtrusive. Muriel made us fantastic breakfasts. Graciela , Anna, and Naira kept the space spotless and transformed the rooms from day (open, fans, lots of views) to night (turning the beds down and turning on the ACs) Carmelo kept the pools and public spaces impeccably clean. Tip. Consider tipping the staff at the end of your stay.
Bottom Line: This place is amazing!
This property is one of a kind with the pool and two spas and three levels. Not only is the property beautiful but the communication, the staff they provide, the cleanliness, the beautiful sea view, etc. was EXCEPTIONAL! Andre was so gracious to make meal reservations, arrange tours, and provide meals in the home. The decor is beautiful and there was plenty of space for our five couples to spread out. Also, the location was superb. Loved it!
If you are staying in Cartagena, Colombia, and you wish to have an amazing experience (excellent amenities yet an authentic atmosphere), you can do no better than this property. In addition to the wonderful home, your host (Andrea) is extremely attentive and she is willing to assist with reservations (restaurant), activities or just about anything reasonable (she is complexity fluent in at least English and Spanish). Finally, the staff was incredible, friendly, efficient and nearly stealth while addressing all your needs. It was a great experience for my family and our friends.
The breakfast at the villa was one of our favorite features! Everyone was incredibly kind and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The employees of the villa are wonderful, kind, and trustworthy! I highly recommend this lovely piece of paradise by the sea! You will not regret it!
Art gallery home with best sunset views in Cartagena
From the first contact the host was warm and welcoming. So humble and kind I had no idea what an over-the-top amazing home I had rented. Even though I had seen the pictures I was still blown away upon arrival. The host was even kind enough to arrange for a van to pick us up at the airport.
The staff was so thoughtful and attentive. Even though we arrived earlier than check-in time they had delicious home made ipanadas and fresh salsa and juice ready for our group. This level of service remained through the duration of our stay. One night we ordered food from the restaurant next door “palo santo” and the waiters delivered the food and served us at our dining table, completely unexpected!
I would give the host, the staff, and the overall experience 10 stars if I could. I would only want to stay at this house when visiting Cartagena.
My family (three grown children and wife) just returned from an amazing stay at Andrea's house. The location is perfect-literally across the street from the walls of the old city and with unparalleled views of the ocean from the roof and second floor deck. But the location is only a small part of what makes this place so unique. The entire house is laid out in such a way to create multiple open-air spaces with plenty of plants to bring the beauty of the city to the inside of the house. The artwork throughout the house is fantastic and one could spend hours just looking at the marvelous paintings, sketches and sculptures. The staff of the house could not have been nicer-they prepared amazing breakfasts for us as well as a couple of dinners. They never got in our way; we loved having them with us. Andrea is an amazing hostess. She made sure our trip was unforgettable in every way possible- we created a detailed itinerary for our stay, and she made all the necessary transportation and dinner reservations, including changing them to suit our needs. One of my sons had a passport issue that required him to return to the states and then come back with the correct documentation. Andrea kept an eye on him through her contacts at the airport, an act of kindness we will never forget. This was one of our best trips ever and we can't wait to return.
Everything about our rental was top notch. The hostess was very helpful in our trip planning. The house is spectacular and the staff was friendly and helpful as well.
