The hotel's location is fantastic, but it is uncomfortable no matter how you put it. They have different hallways with a set of 8 capsules per hallway. We got hallway #4 capsule #30, at least it was the bottom capsule. Each hallway has a private bathroom for the hallway plus there is communal bathrooms after all the hallways. Next to our room is a closet with an electronic lock to put your luggage. Inside the capsule you have a mirror and TV. You can't control the temperature yourself, only the air flow and if it's cold or hot you have to tell the front to adjust it for you and the other 7 capsules. In order to take a shower you have to (kind of) make a mess inside your capsule or outside in front of everyone, because there is no other way. When we returned to the hotel that night somebody had a mess all over the floor and the place smelled like dirty laundry. This hotel is for 1 or maybe 2 nights, no more. The staff were very helpful and courteous, but it doesn't compensate for the lack of comfort. We stayed the first night, but moved to another hotel after that since it was a 5 days stay.

I stayed one night at Hotel ILUNION Málaga after extending my trip and deciding to try a different hotel. I’m glad I did. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. The lobby has plenty of comfortable seating areas, and as a dog lover, I appreciated the treats available for pets at reception. Check-in was quick and effortless, and I was able to upgrade my room for just €20. One nice surprise was the complimentary minibar. It’s not stocked like a Vegas high-roller suite, just a few waters, soft drinks, and snacks. But it definitely came in handy. The fitness facilities are excellent. The gym is well-equipped, and the wellness area includes both a sauna and steam room. They also have showers that alternate between hot and cold water in 20-second intervals, which either makes you feel rejuvenated or briefly question your life choices. The pool is larger than expected and even includes a swim jet for swimming in place. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a bed that made it difficult to get moving in the morning. I didn’t have a chance to try the hotel bar or restaurant, but both looked inviting. After checkout, the front desk happily stored my luggage for four hours while I enjoyed one last walk around Málaga, which was a nice touch and made my departure much easier. Overall, Hotel ILUNION Málaga delivered a great experience from start to finish. Comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, friendly service, and a convenient location.

The location is amazing, close to bars and restaurants all within walking distance; the staff is impeccable, all friendly and nice people. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Can’t fault this hotel. In a really convenient location. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were really polite and helpful. Amazing food at the on-site restaurant. Would definitely stay again.
