Scenic Eastern PEI Built for Golfers and Touring
A beautiful 'home' to return to after a busy day of golfing and touring eastern PEI. All the comforts of home, a view of the river to relax and unwind, warm and friendly people everywhere. The Pattersons have provided a wonderful destination at "Morley's Marina Loft." We look forward to a return visit!

Spectacular rental
We have stayed at many rental properties in North America and Europe and Morley's Marina is definitely the best one yet! Jim & Kathy are wonderful hosts who have provided everything you could possibly need. Morley's Marina was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with tons of closet space. I loved the big soaker tub and the skylights in the bathroom let in so much natural light. The kitchen is very well stocked and spacious. The outside balcony is very comfortable and private and has an amazing view of the river. We enjoyed having our coffee each morning and our glass of wine each evening watching the sun rise and set with lots of herons and eagles as an added bonus. The location is perfect for day trips and it is very close to the Confederation Trail for biking and walking. The nearby town of Montague has several very good dining options, two really fun craft breweries and two big grocery stores. One of the many highlights was going for a cruise on Jim & Kathy's boat and getting to know them better. We will definitely return, hopefully sooner than later!

Simply FABULOUS!!!
We were greeted with a warm smile and a pleasant description of how everything works and what to do locally.
The impeccably clean kitchen is loaded with all the pots, pans, and dishes you could possibly need.
A fabulous view of the river which we were lucky enough to enjoy with the complimentary kayaks and an evening cruise with Kathy and Jim in their boat.
I would highly recommend!!!

Exceeded expectations
Morley’s Marina Loft was everything we were looking for — quiet, comfortable, clean, etc. One of the first things we said upon arrival was, ‘This is even better than it looks in the photos.’ Kathy and Jim were terrific hosts. They keep the suite and property in terrific shape — I wish my BBQ was this clean — and it was a bonus to have access to their collection of bikes and kayaks to explore the area. The WiFi signal was great too, as much as we tried to avoid our email. We spent a lot of hours on the patio and already can’t wait to visit again someday. Would absolutely recommend.

Five Star Hospitality and Accommodations! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kathy and Jim are wonderful hosts that truly care about you comfort and stay in their beautifully designed and appointed home away from home accommodations. They graciously invited us on their boat for a lovely evening cruise on Cardigan Bay, what a treat!
Cardigan is a charming village, part of the Three Rivers district, and conveniently situated close to all East and Central island beaches, trails and attractions. Charlottetown is only 35 minutes away.
My wife and I loved PEI and would love to come back and stay with Kathy and Jim again!

Awesome ... will return.
Beautiful, beautiful place. Everything was clean, modern, new and we had much more than expected. Our 1st AB&B experiece. It will be a hard act to follow. BBQ, bikes Kayaks were also offered, just did not have the time. Golfers. Highly recommended.

Great Stay in Cardigan
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay at Kathy and Jim’s property. The loft is beautifully decorated and outfitted with absolutely everything a person could need or want. It was impeccably clean and has a truly wonderful view of the Cardigan River. The location is very convenient for golf, trails, beaches, and only a short drive to Charlottetown. Thanks very much to Kathy and Jim.

Loft tout simplement charmant avec des propriétaires d'une grande gentillesse et générosité.
Le loft est idéalement situé en face de la rivière Cardigan. Tout est neuf et très pratique avec une grand balcon pour s'asseoir et déjeuner ou prendre un apéro. Et plusieurs activités sont accessibles à courte distance à partir du loft. Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et offre même un tour en bateau sur la rivière pour aller essayer de pêcher le maquereau.

A beautiful design with everything you need.
The interior design and materials were well thought out. The layout and equipment provided all we wanted. and the large window and balcony made the most of the view across the inlet.

Beyond perfect!
We hate to write this review as we know that next year they will be fully booked! However, in the many years we have used VRBO this by far was a fabulous spot! First it sits across the road from a beautiful river leading to the ocean on a wonderful island with the most thoughtful and friendliest people we have yet to meet! The hostess and host went above and beyond the call of duty that anyone could reasonably expect. They are well rooted and connected in the community so if you want or need anything they can produce it though thin air!!
We stayed above the garage in a 1000 plus foot one bedroom suite with a great king bed and a pull out couch if necessary. Everything you might want was ready, waiting in perfect condition. Ample towels etc. even beach towels. This comes with a private deck/porch with lovely flowers etc. The whole place looks like a designer came in and waved a magic wand but yet it still remains comfortable. It has a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and large refrigerator. In the bathroom there is a great tub, seperate shower and nice washer and dryer. There are at least 50 thoughtful little touches like a flashlight in the bedside table, playing cards, two flat screen TV’s and the list goes on. The village of Cardigan is charming with two stores, a resturant and pub near Poole’s Corner which has regular entertainment in the summer time and other times of the year. It is an easy shot to larger towns with great paved roads. If you stay for a certain length of time they may take you out on their fishing boat for a evening ride and steamed mussels. They also have two other suites that can be rented if you are with your family. One final comment... the hosts are thoughtful and very caring people. Salt of the earth and ones who help the experience of PEI live in your memories forever. A plus plus for this deal!
