"It was a nice quiet place to stay while I was getting a few things done at my house. The parking was right next to the yurt. The bathroom and sink are in another building. There was a microwave and fridge. The coffee was good. It was windy and the outer window coverings were really loud, so bring earplugs just in case. It was nice to see the stars while laying in bed. I would stay again."

"Although our paths didn’t cross with Natasha and Jordan - they made it known that they were always available. The Dragonfly Healing Farm was full of warm aloha spirit. Simple and well taken care of, it was the perfect place to unwind each day before venturing throughout the island. Mahalo!!"

"The cottage and grounds are very special. Quiet, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Gale was a wonderful host and we enjoyed our welcome gifts of fruit and the best banana bread on the islands. "

"A lovely cottage to spend our honeymoon. Only a few minutes walk from the lovely Magic Sands Beach. We were able to cook all our own food and were grateful for the pantry staples. All the provisions were more than expected. One minor issue that the top windows in the bedroom did not have a curtain so the room was light early in the morning which made it hard to sleep in. But we would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!"

"Best Kona experience I’ve ever had. Go by yourself or take a friend. A wonderfully appointed clean apartment in the heart of a beautiful jungle. Spent so much time there lazing, reading. Fell asleep each night, sung to sleep by a (quiet) orchestra of wild life.. all of which stayed outside the apartment (I think I meet one mosquito, the whole week, inside the apartment). Drove out each day adventuring (beaches, volcanoes, swimming with huge turtles/manta rays). Dined each lunch at a different...

"We love staying in the Captain Cook area, and this property was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable home with a great lanai. The coqui frogs will serenade you in the evening, chickens will do the same in the morning, and Kiko (a very friendly dog) will stop by to say hello once or twice a day. We will definitely hope to stay here again on future trips to the Big Island."

"Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again."

"This is a beautiful property and very peaceful and calming. We had excellent communication with the manager who really helped us by arranging a washing machine when a prior renter had broken the machine at this cottage. Also, we forgot a ring that has much sentimental value (it got mixed up in the bedding while we were packing to leave). The housekeeper turned it in and the manager contacted us immediately to coordinate it's return. We were already on our way to another part of the island but...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gingerhill Farm. Zack and Iris were delightful hosts. The location is beautiful and rustic, like the old time Hawaii that I remember from my youth. Not luxurious but very comfortable. For us it was the ultimate back to nature experience."

"This was our first visit to the Big Island and we stayed for 10 days. We had a blast! Cheryl was a wonderful host. She lives on the property, which is nice because she’s close by if anything comes up and she has great suggestions on stuff to do nearby. But she was very respectful of our privacy and we only saw her if we sought her out. The house was perfect for our family with four young children. It’s very lived in and not so nice that I was stressed out all the time about my kids being kids,...

We did not spend a whole lot of time hanging out inside the house because the lanai was to die for. Beautiful views and amazing sunsets! Nice breezes to keep you comfortable.
