Located on the first floor of a small condo complex, this two-bedroom, one-bathroom retreat is an ideal home base for couples, small families, or friends looking to explore Capitola, Santa Cruz, and the Monterey Bay area for a weekend getaway or extended stay.

    Nestled along beautiful Monterey Bay, Capitola is known for its mild year-round climate, sandy beaches, laid-back coastal atmosphere, and vibrant local culture. Spend your days strolling the village, dining at local favorites such as Shadowbrook Restaurant, exploring nearby wineries, browsing art galleries, or enjoying fishing, surfing, and other outdoor adventures.

    As a first-floor unit, the condo offers convenient single-level access with no interior stairs to navigate. Guests will appreciate the comfortable accommodations and excellent location close to Capitola's beaches, shops, and restaurants.

    The condo includes covered parking for one vehicle in the carport. Guests traveling with additional vehicles can take advantage of two nearby public parking lots, located just a short walk away, which offer free overnight parking and a modest daily fee.

Annual Girls Trip - Capitola Art and Wine Festival

I must of clicked on wrong property because it wasn't what I thought I had rented but the paperwork gave the address of what I had agreed to. It smelled musty. Floors were not clean. Glasses in cupboard were not clean. Bathroom setup was odd. Furniture setup in one room was odd. It was not what we are use to staying in when we go on vacation in Capitola. The location was great, perfect for going downtown. I will make sure next time that I pay attention to the pics of the place and amenities when I book next time.

The kitchen faucet was leaking, and this obviously was happening for a while as strong mold/mildew odor was coming front the cabinet. Had to endure the plumber working in the kitchen area for over 3 hours. Both beds had no Headboards, mattresses were simply thrown on top of a metal frame. The floor was dirty. Within 5 minutes the bottom of our feet were black. The photos on Vrbo are misleading as they present the place as open and airy. Walking down into a dungeon. The bathroom photo shows the bathroom as open and wide. It does not show a 32-inch door that leads into a very small and dingy bathroom. Photos are AI generated. Overall, I got the impression the owner feels renters are a bother/burdensome, to be treated below his social class. Kitchen wares, pots, pans and coffee cups are poor.The location is great and parking was very helpful. Management staff were very responsive and kind.

It suited our needs

This property is a cinder block home. It was located by my niece’s new shop that she recently opened, which was the reason we booked it. Although, I usually prefer to stay in homes on the river, the location was perfect and it was clean. There is a $141 “linen fee” & I was disappointed that the towels were such low quality.

Girls Weekend!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome weekend at this property. Perfect for me and my sister. Great location and we walked around a lot. 1 block from the beach and amazingly clean! We plan on coming back!!
