Capitola Village Hideaway Bungalow - Pet friendly!
Summary: This quaint, newly updated apartment in Capitola Village is located in the heart of the town! It consists of one bedroom, a pullout couch, a kitchenette, and a shared outdoor seating area (shared with neighbors above). The beach, delicious eateries and shopping is all 1-2 blocks away!
We allow 1 dog, up to 30 lbs, with a $25/day pet fee. There is potential for noise due to it being the bottom unit.
The Space: - Sleeps up to 4 adults. It creates a tight squeeze for 4 people but is a great value stay in the heart of Capitola Village. - 1 bedroom - king bed - 1 bathroom - No designated parking spaces - We provide 1 parking pass for free street parking. Close-by parking is usually easy to find but can be difficult during busy beach days in the village. - Fully stocked kitchen w/ Keurig coffee maker - Living room with pull-out couch. Please note, the living and kitchen space is very cozy when the sofa sleeper is being used. - Small shared patio area
Note: - No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced) - The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety. - Smart TVs with streaming capabilities (no local channels or cable). - Dog Friendly (1 dog, 30lbs of less) for a $25/night fee. This fee will be added after the booking is confirmed and the initial booking is paid for -- Let us know if you want to bring your pet! We are not able to host more than one dog or any other types of pets at this home. - Noise does carry from above so this may not be the best location for light sleepers.
Guest Access: Guests will have full access to the entire lower apartment. There is no parking spot designated for this unit. We provide a parking pass and a map of the permitted and available parking areas. The outdoor sitting area, BBQ, and beach gear are available for your use and also shared with the neighbors.
The Neighborhood: Capitola is a coastal jewel in Santa Cruz County. This charming seaside village is known for its colorful beachfront houses, coastal boutiques, and fantastic dining options. With a relaxed atmosphere, Capitola is a paradise for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Stroll along the picturesque Capitola Beach and explore the unique shops and eateries. The city's scenic beauty, combined with a vibrant community, creates a perfect beachfront destination. Plus, its proximity to Santa Cruz offers easy access to the Boardwalk and additional attractions, making Capitola a delightful coastal retreat.
This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.
Getting Around: - Whole Foods, New Leaf, and Safeway (3-6 minute drive) - Downtown Santa Cruz and the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (15-20 minute drive North) - The Monterey Bay Aquarium (50 minute drive South)
Other Things to Note: - This neighborhood is very lively and on a main road, so there is some traffic noise throughout the day and occasionally at night. There is also another unit above and noise does travel. If you are sensitive to noise, this might not be the best place for you. We do provide a noise machine that does a great job drowning out the noise from the road and neighbors. - There is no on-site parking, however, we do provide a parking pass and a map of the permitted spaces. - The unit is small and cozy, but well decorated with high-end finishes and touches like the Smart TVs and a big King bed. The Unit is on the first floor with a private entrance. Please note, the living and kitchen space is very cozy when the sofa sleeper is being used. It creates a tight squeeze for 4 people but is a great value stay in the heart of Capitola Village. - We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last-minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason. - TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels. - The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.
